How to look when attending a photo shoot, what to consider about your appearance when working in the modelling industry

It is always best to have a clear idea of what the photographer, make up artist and stylist want you to look like for the shoot. Decide with them how to dress and what to wear to a shoot as often you will be completely transformed for the required images so you will not need to worry too much about your own styling etc. Make sure that you have clean hands, hair and nails when attending any shoot as it gives a bad impression if you look messy or dirty.

Paid jobs will always have a make-up artist, but if you have agreed to style yourself and do your own make-up then you will probably do it whilst at the shoot, don't come already made up. If you are having any problems with skin, hair or even nails then let the photographer know so that they can prepare properly and save you a lot of time. With all modelling work it is important that you are in good condition physically so keep up an exercise regime and eat healthily.
